How to measure your dog to choose the right size guard harness?

For the harness to fit well and not cause discomfort, it is very important to measure your dog correctly before choosing the size. Simply measure three basic circumferences:

• Chest circumference – measure the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
• Neck circumference – measure the dog's neck where a collar naturally sits (i.e., at the base of the neck, not near the ears).
• Sternum length – measure the distance between the lower part of the neck circumference and the beginning of the chest circumference (this is the length of the strap connecting the front to the back of the harness).

Make sure that the tape is not too loose or too tight when measuring – it's best to leave about 1-2 cm of slack so that the dog can breathe and move freely. Based on these measurements, choose a size from our table. If your dog is between sizes – we recommend choosing the larger one and adjusting the harness accordingly.
